Next to the already existing hotel van der Valk in Venlo, a modern hotel tower was built by Wijnen Bouw Someren.
2. Byldis Facades contribution to this project
Byldis aluminium facades supplied around 2,500 m² of curtain walls and around 700 m² of window frames. Notable for Byldis is the LED lighting incorporated in the profiles.
3. Why was Byldis chosen?
Byldis was chosen due to the complexity and scale of the project.
4. Challenges & solutions
The "plinth" consists of three layers of circular curtain walls with integrated turnstiles, sliding doors escape doors, fire doors curved segments. Above that, the actual hotel tower, of nine storeys and the top two storeys where the "sky lounge" is located.
